About Gujpro: Gujpro Agribusiness Consortium Producer Company Ltd. (GUJPRO) is a consortium of FPOs formed to advance the business and policy interests of FPOs in Gujarat.  GUJPRO in the role of a state level producer Company uses market based strategies to enhance the livelihoods of farmers.  The goal is to strengthen the FPOs to such an extent that they are able to enhance the income and capabilities of farmers thus making agriculture a viable profession for them.

The company also provides capacity building support to its members and supports them in availing credit from banks and financial institutions.  The company will facilitate development of agriculture related infrastructure in order to create a suitable ecosystem for FPOs to engage them in higher level of value addition and trade of farm produce.

Purpose of the Job: The Sales Executives will be responsible for mapping and preparing a database of all possible clients in the whole of Saurashtra, North Gujarat and Kutch region.  The core function will be sales of agri inputs and financial products offered by the company.

Key work deliverables

  • Mapping and preparing a database of all possible clients from Saurashtra, North Gujarat and Kutch region.
  • Offer agri input products like seeds and fertilizers for sale to the client. Also, based on the need of these clients offer them short duration financial products as well as technology products offered by the company.
  • Work with core focus on Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to understand and offer them financial products as well as agri input products.
  • Coordination of the activities of the cluster network of FPOs formed by the company in different districts of Saurashtra and Kutch region.
  • Working with the sales team to develop sales plan and targeted sales strategies
  • Answering client queries about product specifications and uses
  • Maintaining client and partner relations
  • Payment recovery from clients.
  • Creating and presenting sales and product performance reports
  • Contributing in conducting market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and trends in the market.
  • Plan and execute promotional events, product presentations and participate in trade events wherever required
  • Provide Field insights on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in marketing, business, or related field
  • With minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the areas of sales especially agri input products.
  • Having strong written and oral communication skills in Gujarati and good at negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve performance objectives and deliverables
  • Work in a team and promote team spirit and culture
